SIMPLY WAX
Simply Wax is a brushed encaustic technique which retains the most photographic detail. We start with a maple panel and brush the mounted photograph with organic beeswax. Next, we enhance the image using oil paints that compliment the image.

WAX ON WOOD
Wax on Wood is a poured encaustic technique which gives the image a soft focus feel. We start with a maple panel and pour the mounted photograph with organic beeswax. Next, we enhance the image using oil paints and an oil resin that compliment the image. The end result has a dreamy, almost fantasy world like appeal.

WAX ON PAPER
Wax on paper is a brushed encaustic technique which retains the most photographic detail. We start with a fine art print on watercolor paper. We hand tear the edges for a beautiful deckled edge, then brush the photograph with organic beeswax. Next, we enhance the image using oil paints that compliment the image.
